Bayfields Opticians & Audiologists are the Number One Which? Recommended Hearing Aid provider and we are now looking for an enthusiastic Audiologist to join our Barnard Castle practice over 3 days / 24 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm).

What makes this role special?
As our Audiologist in our Barnard practice, you will have the time and space to do things properly.
- 15-minute hearing health checks to identify needs and build rapport
- 75-minute hearing care examinations to dive deep into your clients’ lifestyle, preferences, and hearing goals
This extended appointment structure allows you to build trust, understand each individual, and recommend the most suitable solutions—without rushing.
What you will be doing:
- Carrying out hearing care examinations to the highest clinical standards
- Following all current HCPC and BSA testing guidelines
- Collaborating closely with your practice team to deliver obsessively great service throughout the Bayfields client journey
- Educating clients about their hearing health and empowering them to make informed decisions
What we are looking for:
- HCPC-registered Audiologist with a passion for person-centred care
- A full UK driving licence and car
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, client-first environment
