BMW Group Park is looking for a Facilities Manager. This role is based between Park Lane and Park Royal, London. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day facility management operations and lead strategic initiatives that ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment. This role covers a broad scope including cleaning, security, maintenance, space management, renovations, and compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Oversee and manage suppliers for both hard and soft services to maintain the company's premises at the highest standards.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Monitor service performance through KPIs, driving continuous improvement and maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies to ensure business continuity.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and implement necessary improvements.
  • Lead large-scale facilities projects, managing contractors to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Define business requirements and support tendering processes in line with BMW Group purchasing policies.
  • Manage purchasing of general office equipment, furnishings, and consumables.
  • Address colleague queries related to access, equipment, Display Screen Equipment (DSE), and health and safety concerns.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on facilities performance, costs, and improvement plans.

What should you bring along?

  • Degree level qualification or relevant experience required.
  • Proven work and leadership experience in facilities management.
  • Strong experience managing multiple facilities simultaneously, including planning, managing, and executing facilities projects such as showroom refits.
  • Demonstrable project management experience, with the ability to lead and deliver complex facilities projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in managing contractors and service contracts effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple issues simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work and travel across two central London sites.
