The Role

As a Facilities Management Apprentice, you will support the smooth running of our building operations by learning and assisting in various essential areas such as maintenance, project management, health & safety, contractor coordination, and energy management. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop valuable practical skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-end production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Delivery and Steering of Facility Refurbishment Projects incl. Cost, Time, and Quality Management.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Coordinate and facilitate work carried out by external contractors and learn to use fault reporting systems such as Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Health & Safety: Support the implementation of safety procedures, identify potential hazards, and help ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • CAD: Develop key skills in building design and layouts.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly and effectively to requests from staff, providing solutions and support.
  • Energy & Sustainability: Learn to monitor and manage energy usage and other resources to promote sustainability and efficiency.

  • Enhance teamwork, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Gain numeracy skills and experience in budget management.
  • Learn risk assessment techniques and compliance requirements.

This apprenticeship provides a solid foundation for a career in Facilities Operations or Real Estate Development, with potential progression into roles such as Technical Object Manager or Project Manager.

The successful applicants from the above will be invited to the final stage of this process, a face-to-face Assessment Centre. Provisionally, the Assessment Centre is due to take place week commencing 30th March 2026 (this is subject to change).
