BMW Group Park Lane is looking for a Corporate Sales Manager. This role is based at Park Lane, London. Reporting to the Corporate Sales General Manager, the Corporate Sales Manager will drive sales volume, profitability, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This pivotal role supports Business Development Managers (BDMs) and the wider sales management team to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage vehicle sales transactions in accordance with company sales processes, accounting policies, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, ensuring all funds are accurately receipted before vehicle release.
- Maintain and operate under Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) accreditation, adhering to FCA, BMW Financial Services (BMW FS), and company compliance standards including product sales and complaint handling.
- Regularly review debtors and overpayments, ensuring compliance with brand franchise agreements to prevent unauthorised reseller sales.
- Support sales teams in maintaining complete and accurate deal documentation, customer records, and perform part-exchange appraisals using company-approved procedures.
- Lead customer engagement efforts, ensuring thorough follow-up, professional negotiation, and maximising sales volume and profitability.
- Achieve customer retention targets through proactive renewal strategies, ensuring a high-quality customer journey from lead generation through to vehicle handover.
- Participate in and lead departmental meetings, showroom events, and product launches to promote brand awareness and ensure adherence to regulatory and marketing standards.
- Oversee showroom and vehicle presentation standards, encourage social media engagement to boost customer interaction, and assist in the smooth running of the department, deputising for the General Manager as required.
Qualifications
- Extensive industry knowledge with a strong customer-focused approach, excellent organisational and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in fact-finding, influencing, persuading, and conflict management.
- Experienced in vehicle appraisals and identifying new business opportunities.
- Skilled in closing sales and cultivating strong customer relationships.
- Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Competent in relevant IT systems including Microsoft Office, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) systems, customer relationship management platforms, and sales management tools.
- High levels of energy, enthusiasm, self-motivation, commitment, and assertiveness.
