Join Our Team as a Control Technician

What awaits you?

  1. Modify controls of assembly systems to enhance and sustain production, providing technical support for manufacturing operations.
  2. Support manufacturing systems and tools to ensure they meet BMW standards and operate efficiently.
  3. Maintain and distribute technical data, overseeing the implementation of BMW standards within manufacturing areas.
  4. Upgrade and support current manufacturing systems and tools to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  5. Negotiate and influence maintenance colleagues during facility failures to meet process targets.
  6. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to gather information on innovations and improvements.

What should you bring?

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 5 or equivalent, or possess significant technological experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems; experience in electrical engineering is beneficial.
  • Experience with control systems, PLCs, field bus, robots, safety, drive, vision, and measurement systems.
  • Experience with electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is advantageous.
  • Understanding of software engineering (e.g., Visual Basic, C, C#, C++, SQL, Java).
