What awaits you?
- Modify controls of assembly systems to enhance and sustain production, providing technical support for manufacturing operations.
- Support manufacturing systems and tools to ensure they meet BMW standards and operate efficiently.
- Maintain and distribute technical data, overseeing the implementation of BMW standards within manufacturing areas.
- Upgrade and support current manufacturing systems and tools to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Negotiate and influence maintenance colleagues during facility failures to meet process targets.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to gather information on innovations and improvements.
What should you bring?
- Qualified to NVQ Level 5 or equivalent, or possess significant technological experience.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems; experience in electrical engineering is beneficial.
- Experience with control systems, PLCs, field bus, robots, safety, drive, vision, and measurement systems.
- Experience with electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of software engineering (e.g., Visual Basic, C, C#, C++, SQL, Java).
