BMW Group Park Lane are looking for a Workshop Manager. This role is based at BMW Park Royal and is responsible for managing all workshop activity, including Used Car Prep, to consistently achieve budgets and targets, including Compliance, Health and Safety and Training. Maintaining high levels of skill, quality and efficiency within the workshop, including Workshop Control, Quality Control, Service and Maintenance and Technical Repair and tooling.

- Ensure agreed processes are managed and maintained for customers and staff.
- Maximising opportunities and customer expectations in accordance with our working charter.
- Deal with staff and suppliers in a courteous, efficient and considerate manner.
- Oversee Tyre implant and stock.
- Oversee workshop control.
- Cover for workshop controller (Annual leave, Sick & Training).
- Manage all special tools and equipment.
- Manage all workshop training, including mandatory training.
- Manage oils and consumable stock (Order as required) including oil and sundry waste management.
- Manage all workshop Health and Safety (including assessments and action plans).
- Manage all workshop compliance and accreditations.
What should you bring along?
- Competent level in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).
- Up to date mechanical and technical competence preferred – Minimum standard would be Level 3 IMI Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician.
- Previous experience in instructing technicians with repair instructions and procedures.
- Leadership or Management experience.
- Customer centric focus, adapt to customer demands.
Details
- 45 Hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am – 6 pm with 1 hour lunch.
- Saturday working (as per rota) – 1 in 4, paid as overtime.
- 25 Days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
