Are you a recent science graduate who is keen to step out of the lab and put your skills to use, from day one to make a meaningful impact? Do you want to collaborate with colleagues worldwide to ensure consumers can access Bayer Consumer Health products empowering them to look after their health and well-being? What does the role involve?

As a member of the Global Regulatory Affairs team in Consumer Health, you will gain invaluable insights into what it takes to keep our products on the market while navigating the ever-evolving global regulatory landscape. Over the course of 24 months, you will have the opportunity to work across three different areas within the Global regulatory function through three rotations, collaborating with colleagues both based in the UK and from around the globe.

Initially this role will give you an excellent grounding in the systems, process and regulations that surrounding the life cycle of self-care products before then exploring different aspects of Regulatory giving you real responsibility to make an impact. Day-to-day tasks might include:

  • Responsible for supporting assessment of proposed changes and confirming regulatory impact.
  • Responsible for communicating changes to local regulatory affairs team and support them in documents required to maintain products on the markets, or update in case of change.
  • Responsible for supporting with researching and assessing key regulatory intelligence and policy topics and providing overviews for different audiences and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for supporting monitoring incoming regulatory intelligence, reviewing them, and triaging them within the immediate team and broader team for impact assessment.
  • Responsible for support of implementation and training of new system upgrades.
  • Responsible for supporting updates to internal regulatory systems or internal data to support ongoing compliance.

Who are we looking for?

  • A graduate with a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Pharmacy, Regulatory or Life Sciences achieving a minimum of 2:2 classification.
  • A motivated individual who is eager to embrace additional responsibility and grow within the role.
  • Emotionally intelligent, able to understand the sentiment behind different communications and relay this to different stakeholders.
  • Inquisitive and eager to learn more about the regulatory landscape, as well as acquiring new skills and processes for professional growth.
  • A team player, able to work well with different departments across the business.
  • An agile worker, able to switch focus between different tasks across the business and different stakeholder groups from around the world.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working within areas of ambiguity with confidence.
  • Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy, able to identify key information amidst large volumes of data.
  • Eager to learn new systems and processes within the regulatory area.
  • Proficient computer skills, with strong knowledge of relevant software applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
