Position Overview
Under the supervision of the First Vice President of Loan Operations and in collaboration with the Commercial Team Lead, the employee will review and process all commercial loans originated by the Commercial Lending Department, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulations. Responsibilities include loan setup, quality control, file maintenance, documentation tracking, and customer service related to commercial loans.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform loan setup and monetary transactions in the core system (COCC Insight), including accurate fee assessment.
- Review and verify all documentation for new commercial loan bookings for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and modify commercial loan files, including extensions and renewals.
- Track collateral and insurance documentation, following up to resolve issues.
- Manage real estate tax records and perform routine account transactions.
- Quote and process loan payoffs, including fee assessment.
- Handle credit inquiries and audits, and assist with various loan portfolios.
- Manage loan payoffs, collateral releases, and filings with appropriate entities.
- Serve as a point of contact for commercial customers regarding account servicing.
- Perform additional duties as needed, including overtime during high volume periods.
- Promote the Bankβs solutions and refer business to appropriate departments.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of loan processing practices and ability to work under deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with COCC Insight and Salesforce preferred.
- Attention to detail, dependability, effective time management, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Customer service experience and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Work Environment
General office setting; physical ability to sit, talk, hear, lift up to 20 lbs., and work evenings/weekends as needed.
