Summary:
RN is proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills. RN acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. RN acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members. RN performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse.
This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer at least 1 year of Critical Care experience as an RN. RN PACU experience is strongly preferred.
Certifications & Licensures:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- ACLS (Cardiovascular)
- PALS (if required)
Education:
- Bachelor's Nursing Preferred
- Or Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma
Experience:
- Required: 2 years acute care experience or 2 year Interventional/Procedural experience
- Preferred: 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship
