Would you like to give compassionate care to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the comfort of their own homes? To qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of verifiable work experience with individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in New Castle, Delaware. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) - work one-on-one in community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential. As a member of our team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. We are committed to investing in people and nurturing their desire to grow.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Accompany clients on errands and appointments
  • Spend time on the client’s favourite hobbies and activities
  • Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation

Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:
  • One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training is available through our apprentice program)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
