Role Overview: You will bridge the gap between complex silicon IP architecture and hardware engineering customers. You will produce technical manuals for customers to use in hardware IP integration and runtime configuration. This role requires close collaboration with design, architecture, and software teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Technical Manuals: review, edit, add and correct content, for architecture specifications, integration guides, and data sheets. Ensure alignment between documents, between documents and the product.
  • Develop User Guides: Produce step-by-step guides for IP configuration, synthesis, and verification.
  • Standardize Documentation: Establish templates, style guides, and documentation release workflows.
  • Manage Version Control: Maintain documentation pipelines tied to hardware RTL release cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hardware Literacy: Understand SoC design flows including IP integration.
  • Software Literacy: ability to understand IP architecture exploration, configuration and simulation tooling.
  • Written Language: Demonstrate the ability to write and edit technical documentation in high-quality English.
  • Tools Expertise: Proficiency with Sphinx, HTML, LaTeX or similar documentation systems such as DITA, XML, Markdown, Promark, or FrameMaker.
  • Automation Skills: Experience with scripts (typically Python, Perl) in Git/Github/CI/CD.
  • Startup Agility: Ability to thrive independently with evolving specifications and tight deadlines.

Education: Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, Technical Writing, or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5+ years documenting semiconductor IP or complex SoC architectures.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Network-on-Chip (NoC) or AMBA protocols (AXI, CHI, ACE).
  • Familiarity with PCIe, CXL, or UCIE interconnect standards.
