Job Description
- Position: Worship Leader
- Type: Part‑Time
- Hours: 8–10 hrs/week
- Pay: $150/week

Skills To Have
- A vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Faithful commitment to the vision, mission and leadership standards of our church
- Ability to lead our worship musicians to create excellent, authentic modern worship (example: Hillsong, Elevation, etc.)
- Exceptional vocal ability is a requirement and/or instrumental talent a plus
- Technology used: Multitracks, Planning Center Online, ProPresenter are required or must learn quickly
Responsibilities
- Create musical worship for Sunday morning worship gathering
- Conduct rehearsals to prepare for Sundays
- Plan the weekly worship service in collaboration with the Lead Pastor
- Schedule musicians and run weekly rehearsals
- Review and approve ProPresenter slides before each service
- Manage and schedule services with team documents (chord charts, etc.) using Planning Center Services
- Coordinate the operation necessary tools for live worship on Sunday (Multitracks, Planning Center, ProPresenter, etc.)
Requirements — Faith & Membership
- Practicing Christ follower with a genuine, active faith
- Willing to become a member of Bay West Church and commit to the membership agreement
- Fully aligned with Bay West Church's mission, core values, and theological beliefs
Requirements — Music & Leadership
- Demonstrated musical ability — proficiency on at least one instrument
- Strong vocal/singing ability with experience leading a congregation
- Prior experience leading worship in a church or ministry setting
