Recovery Coach Learning Communities (RCLC) Regional Coordinator(s)
Are you a seasoned Recovery Coach that wants to give back to the Recovery Community? Are you ready to share your experience to guide and support other Recovery Coaches?
Bay State Community Services (BSCS) through the Recovery Education Collaborative (REC) has 6 Regional Coordinator part-time positions available as part of the Recovery Coach Learning Communities Initiative (RCLC). You will have the opportunity to bring the local Recovery Coach Community together on a monthly in-person basis. Working with the local Peer Recovery Support Center, you will reach out into your community to bring together Recovery Coaches to focus on the skills and needs of Recovery Coaches in your community.
We are looking to support each of the DPH Bureau of Addiction Services (BSAS) Regions including the Western, Central, Metrowest, Boston, Northeast, and Southeast Regions with a local Regional Coordinator.
What You Will Be Doing To Make a Difference
- Bringing the Recovery Coach Community together to learn and support one another
- Outreach to your community to welcome Recovery Coaches to connect with one another
- Plan and offer monthly meetings that provide skills, encouragement, and connection
- Be a leader in the Recovery Coach community to advocate and educate systems of care
Schedule: 10 hours per month – Meetings are scheduled to be in person
Requirements
- Must have lived experience
- Must be an experienced Recovery Coach
- Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) strongly preferred
- Recovery Coach Supervisor experience preferred
- Must have a thorough understanding of the peer model
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Facilitation Skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
- High School Diploma or equivalent
