POSITION OVERVIEW: The O-1/EB-1 - U.S. Immigration Paralegal is responsible for preparing O-1/EB-1 cases. This includes drafting sample recommendation letters, Letters of Support, forms, compiling case packets, etc., under supervision of Case Managers, Case Directors, and Attorneys. This position works with US immigration law, but may qualify as full-time qualifying work experience (QWE) for SQE purposes. This will be discussed further with successful candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review strategy prepared by Case Manager and Attorneys.
  • Identify necessary documentation required from petitioner and beneficiary.
  • Work with clients, and request information and documentation from the client in a timely manner.
  • Draft supporting documentation, including petitioner/beneficiary letters, affidavits, etc.
  • Fill out forms.
  • Compile the case, including forms, supporting documentation, and exhibits.
  • Review and implement edits from Case Manager and Attorney(s).
  • Evaluate cases and assist in the preparation of the strategy.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Prior experience in research and drafting

MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Bachelor's degree
