We are looking to appoint to this important middle leadership role, within the English department on our secondary site from September 2026.
The successful candidate will:
- Work alongside the Head of Department to lead on improving the quality of learning and teaching within English;
- Have outstanding subject knowledge at all levels;
- Have a proven track record of teaching in English and helping students to achieve outstanding results;
- Be highly organised;
- Be knowledgeable in using data to support students;
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with clarity to the school community;
- Have high expectations and a commitment to raising standards;
- Have a passion to enhance the learning experience of all our students.
