Job DescriptionThe primary objective of this role is to provide effective leadership and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and high-quality products that meet or exceed our clients\β stringent standards. We are seeking a full-time Team Leader for our Cafe at BaxterStorey, who will be accountable for the following critical responsibilities:
Implementing and rigorously enforcing BaxterStorey\βs strategic vision encompassing People, Product, Customers, Environment, and Profitability
Ensuring the consistent delivery of superior customer service through a professional, efficient, and meticulous approach
Providing authoritative and decisive leadership to the team, including task allocation, performance management, and continuous evaluation
Supporting the Manager in critical daily operational activities and assuming full managerial responsibilities in their absence
Coordinating effectively with Front of House (FOH) team to guarantee product excellence, optimal inventory management, and stringent stock control
Rigorously maintaining and enforcing the highest standards of food safety, occupational health and safety, and professional presentation
QualificationsSkills & Requirements
Experience and passion in hospitality, retail, or food service
Amazing teamwork skills and an ability to drive excellent communication
Flexibility to work on a rota based schedule
Strong customer service focus with a positive attitude and professional presentation
Experience in Front-of-house (FOH) operations , including food service and stock control
A positive can-do attitude and a desire to improve and win every day
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills , especially during peak times
Ability to work collaboratively with both front and back-of-house teams
Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.
Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the fast-service industry, is often a Plus.
Knowledge of Food Safety and sanitation practices.
