Job Description:

  • Food preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to head-chef recipes and standards, ensuring food safety.
  • Station management – oversee production, keep supplies stocked and the area clean.
  • Quality control – maintain high standards for presentation and taste.
  • Team collaboration – communicate positively, support colleagues and coach junior chefs.
  • Menu development – collaborate with the head chef on new recipes and improvements.
  • Cleaning and maintenance – keep the kitchen tidy and equipment in good working order.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a commis chef or similar role.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
