Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating client & BaxterStorey teams calls related to new openings and mobilisation activity
- Working closely with design and operational teams on kitchen and beverage space layouts to ensure they are operationally effective and maximise space utilisation
- Supporting the mobilisation of new sites across the UK
- Providing ongoing operational support across another operations director's patch, working with regional teams
- Leading, inspiring, collaborating and supporting direct reports to deliver consistently exceptional standards
- Building positive, credible and collaborative relationships & communication methods with clients and other key stakeholders in the business
- Continually looking to develop your team through mentoring, training, recognition and empowerment
- Creating a culture of excellence with your team, continually striving to push the boundaries of brilliance through natural caring service, obsessive food standards and innovation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a General Manager and/or an operational level within contract catering
- Contagious passion for food and customer service
- Strong understanding of operational delivery within food & beverage environments
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in relation to kitchen and beverage design and functionality
- Good commercial and operational awareness of how space design impacts service delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly at client level
- Knowledge of BaxterStorey systems and BaxterStorey's food & beverage culture
- Drive satisfaction from managing, training and supporting a team
- Financially astute, analytical and able to create and maintain budgets and drive commercial performance
- Strong internal General Manager looking to develop further and broaden experience into project and operational support within client contracts and wider teams across another patch under the Operations Director
- Operationally credible and comfortable working in a project-driven environment, balancing detail while looking at long-term goals
