Portico is currently recruiting for a part-time Housekeeper to join our team at a corporate hotel in Marble Arch. The successful candidate will join our close-knit, small and friendly team who work to ensure that our guests have a memorable stay and leave with a smile on their face.
Duties of the Housekeeper include:
- Cleaning and servicing all aspects in relation to the preparation of guest accommodation.
- Ensuring that both back of house and public areas are always kept in a clean and tidy state.
- Providing a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers.
- General cleaning of all rooms including but not limited to; dusting, vacuuming, making beds, washing, and disposing of waste.
- Monitoring cleaning and consumable supplies, raising any requirements as needed.
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.
- Dealing with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Adhering to rules regarding health and safety and remaining aware of any company-related practices.
Hours: hours per week with rotating shifts from Monday - Friday
Salary: £15,380
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A keen eye for detail
- An outgoing and friendly personality
- Highly reliable and efficient
- The ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers alike.
