Location: Leeds – Multi site role

Rate of pay: £14.00 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 over 7 days)

Weeks: 52 weeks

This role requires flexibility to travel to multiple locations to support the Site Manager with front‑of‑house duties. The position is currently a 6‑month fixed contract with the possibility of extension to full time.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
  • Keep the kitchen and restaurant areas clean and tidy at all times.
  • Provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
  • Ensure that customers receive prompt and efficient service and that expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Be customer focused at all times, be visible during service periods, approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs.
  • Project a willing and helpful attitude to customers; seek knowledge of food items sold through catering areas and keep service counters clean and fully stocked.
  • Treat team members at location with respect and professionalism.
  • Co‑operate with all team members and undertake duties in the kitchen/service areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered at all times.
  • Attend food safety, health and safety and environmental training courses as required.
  • Rigorously follow the unit cleaning schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Must own a car and be flexible.
  • Ideally have experience working within education catering.
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Flexible with a can‑do attitude, customer focused.
