National role to include - Leicester, Manchester, Milton Keynes, London and Reading

Up to £45,000 per annum plus car / car allowance

Job Description

  • Leading and coordinating client & BaxterStorey teams calls related to new openings and mobilisation activity
  • Working closely with design and operational teams on kitchen and beverage space layouts to ensure they are operationally effective and maximise space utilisation
  • Supporting the mobilisation of new sites across UK
  • Providing ongoing operational support across another operations director's patch, working with regional teams
  • Lead, inspire, collaborate and support your direct reports to deliver consistently exceptional standards
  • Build positive, credible and collaborative relationships & communication methods with clients and other key stakeholders in the business
  • Continually look to develop your team through mentoring, training, recognition, and empowerment
  • Create a culture of excellence with your team, continually striving to push the boundaries of brilliance through natural caring service, obsessive food standards and innovation

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a General Manager and / or an operational level within contract catering
  • Have a contagious passion for food and customer service
  • Strong understanding of operational delivery within food & beverage environments
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in relation to kitchen and beverage design and functionality
  • Good commercial and operational awareness of how space design impacts service delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly at client level
  • Knowledge of BaxterStorey systems and BaxterStorey's food & beverage culture
  • You draw satisfaction from managing, training, and supporting a team
  • Financially astute, you are very analytical and know how to create and maintain budgets and drive commercial performance
  • This will suit a strong internal General Manager who is looking to develop further and broaden their experience into project and operational support within the client contracts and wider teams across the other patch under the Operations Director
  • It’s important that this individual is both operationally credible and comfortable working in a project-driven environment, balancing detail while looking at the long term goals
