About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and efficient Operations Support Manager to oversee and optimise our operational processes, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves managing a team across multiple locations, collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders, and maintaining key vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate daily operations across all departments to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and improve operational performance.
  • Analyse operational data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee project management activities related to operational improvements and new initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior management.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers to maintain optimal service levels.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of long‑term operational strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations management or a similar role.
  • Strong background in catering and hospitality.
  • Proven track record in team leadership and supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of operations management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Outstanding organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
  • Understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Willingness to travel within Scotland’s central belt and across the North West region as required.
