This is a great role for someone who enjoys building relationships, leading teams, and delivering memorable events. You'll be responsible for making sure everything runs smoothly, from small internal meetings through to large conferences and client events, while providing first-class service and experience for our clients.
A bit about the role:
- As Meetings & Events Manager, you'll lead a team of five across two busy London locations, overseeing the planning and delivery of a wide range of meetings, conferences, hospitality events, and client functions.
- You'll work closely with clients, operational teams, chefs, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure every event is delivered to a high standard and meets the client's brief, budget, and expectations.
- From the initial enquiry through to event delivery and post-event review, you'll take ownership of the whole process.
- This is a busy, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be balancing multiple priorities, supporting your team, solving problems as they arise, and continually looking for ways to improve the customer experience and drive commercial performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing and delivering corporate meetings and events in a hospitality or venue environment.
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events at the same time.
- Confidence working with clients and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and event costs.
- A practical, solution-focused approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Good commercial awareness and a focus on delivering both excellent service and strong financial results.
- A passion for creating great customer experiences and constantly looking for ways to improve them.
- An understanding of sustainability and how it can be incorporated into event delivery.
