The predicted salary is between 30000 - 31000 £ per year.

Location: Heathrow Airport

Pay: £14.91 per hour

Hours: You will be required to work a mixture of early and late shifts. The earliest start is 04:30 with the latest finish time of 22:30. All shifts are for 8 hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and serve high-quality beverages to customers while providing exceptional service.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring accuracy and consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making personalised drink recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Create unique and innovative cocktail recipes, staying up-to-date with current trends in mixology and beverage industry.
  • Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies, such as liquor, glassware, and garnishes.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including knowledge of ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, including coordinating with servers and kitchen staff.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving to provide a positive experience for all guests.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for various dishes, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all ingredients, utensils, and equipment are readily available and in good working condition.
  • Adhere to proper food safety and hygiene standards, including temperature controls, storage procedures, and sanitation practices.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of beverages, attending workshops, seminars, and tastings to enhance skills and stay informed about industry trends.

Additional Requirements

Please note that this role is based at an international airport and therefore successful applicants will require photographic ID and pass a basic disclosure which we will apply for. In order to obtain an airside pass we will need verifiable evidence of your past 5 years of work/education history.

Qualifications

  • Have a contagious passion for bar service and/or customer service.

  • Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus.
