Job Description

As General Catering Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management, performance, and continuous improvement of the catering operation. You will lead from the front, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, compliance, and financial performance.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on service excellence, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency, ensuring all contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved and exceeded.

  • Lead, inspire, collaborate and support your direct reports to deliver consistently exceptional standards
  • Build positive, credible and collaborative relationships & communication methods with clients and other key stakeholders in the business
  • Continually look to develop your team through mentoring, training, recognition, and empowerment
  • Create a culture of excellence with your team, continually striving to push the boundaries of brilliance through natural caring service, obsessive food standards and innovation
  • Achieve business critical KPI's including Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial and Governance

Qualifications

  • Have a contagious passion for food and customer service
  • Proven experience in a senior catering or hospitality management role
  • A genuine passion for healthy eating, nutrition, and quality food delivery
  • Demonstrable success in delivering against SLAs, KPIs, and financial targets
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety legislation and compliance requirements
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional standards
