Overview
As a Kitchen Porter, your responsibilities will include maintaining daily hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas, controlling and putting away daily stock deliveries, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, assisting in basic food preparation as directed by the chef, cleaning and sanitising surfaces, bins and floors, organising cleaning supplies, assisting with unloading deliveries, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, reporting faulty equipment to the supervisor, assisting in inventory management and stock rotation, maintaining a clean changing area and staff facilities, and supporting other kitchen staff during busy periods. You will be required to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities
- Maintain daily hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Control and put away daily stock deliveries
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chef
- Clean and sanitise work surfaces, floors, and walls
- Empty and clean waste bins
- Organise and store cleaning supplies
- Assist with unloading delivery vehicles when necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Report any faulty equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Maintain a clean and tidy changing area and staff facilities
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods
- You will be required to work every other weekend
