The Benugo brand stretches from our own award-winning high street stores to cafes and restaurants within some of the world’s best loved public spaces and visitor attractions.
We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join the team at the London Coliseum - English National Opera. Opened on December 24th 1904, The London Coliseum is the largest theatre in London’s West End. As well as being the home of the English National Opera, it’s the London home of the English National Ballet. Although primarily used for opera performances, look out for summer blockbuster shows and the classic Nutcracker every Christmas.
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
About the Sous Chef role:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Head / Sous Chef
- Assist in the development and planning of menus
- Ensuring the food quality is at its highest standard at all times
- Ensure the performance of the chef team is of the highest standard by motivating and leading by example
- Assist with stock taking when required
- Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are maintained to the highest standard
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience within high volume kitchens
- Strong communication and leadership skills
