Overview
Food & Beverage Manager role at BaxterStorey. This position leads the food and beverage proposition across the campus in partnership with the Operations Manager, supporting the transition into the Global Leadership Centre (GLC) with a focus on elevating the food and beverage offer. The Global Leadership Centre is in Oxford on the River Thames site, with the Spring 2026 opening. We are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager who motivates a team to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional experiences.
As part of the role, you will help shape the F&B proposition across the campus and work with support services to deliver outstanding service delivery.
Base pay range
Salary: £55k
Location: Oxford
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, collaborate and support your direct reports to deliver consistently exceptional standards
- Build positive, credible, and collaborative relationships with clients and other key stakeholders
- Mentor, train, recognise and empower your team to develop
- Create a culture of excellence with a focus on caring service, high food standards and innovation
- Achieve business-critical KPIs including Health & Safety, Sustainability, Financial and operational targets
- Collaborate with the culinary team to design and develop menus that exemplify high standards of food & beverage expertise, while leading from the front and engaging service partners and clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience commensurate with the role
- 4/5* hotel, beverage and bar background
- Experience with property, lodging or room-division management
- Passion for food and customer service
- Experience in managing, training and supporting a team
- Financially astute with ability to create and maintain budgets and drive commercial performance
- Excellent delegation and influencing skills
- Meticulous organisational abilities and high attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills
