We are recruiting a Group Executive Head Chef for an exclusive contract based at an Edinburgh location with periodic travel. Be part of a newly structured team overseeing a unique flagship operation in Edinburgh that has Retail, Hospitality, Hotel and Fine dining business across the sites. The retail operation consists of a modern restaurant, premium sandwich concept and beverage bar. The hospitality operation consists of a 70 bedroom hotel, 300 capacity conference centre and multiple hospitality locations with break out areas. The team are energetic, enthusiastic and have fun doing what they love!
Job Description
The essential ingredient at the heart of our business is our people, so we are searching for an experienced Regional Executive Head Chef with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our highly prestigious corporate settings. As Regional Executive Head Chef, your focus is to work closely with your teams to develop a great work relationship and together to provide the best customer service. As well as having excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Head Chef in a multi-site or regional capacity responsible for all food related matters.
- Be a proven, hands-on leader, able to invest in your team and their development, with strong leadership and people development skills.
- A passion for fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food, driving innovative and creative menus that are driven by excellence.
- Be financially astute with good understanding of GP calculation and have strong IT literacy.
- Be naturally outgoing and vibrant, display a real passion for food and customer service.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable in both corporate and creative food environments.
- Have excellent Health & Safety knowledge.
- Be innovative and creative and driven by excellence.
- Stay up to date with current food trends.
