We are recruiting a Group Executive Head Chef for an exclusive contract‑based role at an Edinburgh location with periodic travel. This role oversees a flagship operation with retail, hospitality, hotel and fine dining across sites, including a modern restaurant, premium sandwich concept, beverage bar, a 70‑bedroom hotel, 300‑capacity conference centre and multiple hospitality locations.

As Regional Executive Head Chef you will work closely with teams to develop strong working relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage kitchen teams across multiple sites.
  • Develop and implement menus focused on fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Oversee food safety, health and safety, and maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Monitor budgets, forecast GP and manage cost controls.
  • Invest in team development and foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Head Chef in a multi‑site or regional capacity.
  • Hands‑on leadership with strong people development skills.
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food and innovative menu creation.
  • Financial astuteness with understanding of GP calculation.
  • Strong IT literacy and confidence with kitchen technology.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Experience in both corporate and creative food environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Innovative, creative and driven by excellence.
  • Ability to stay up‑to‑date with current food trends.

Additional Information: Up to £65,000 per annum. Monday to Friday schedule. 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays. Bespoke training and development. Pension. Discounts available via Perkbox app, from high‑street shops to holidays and cinemas.
