Responsibilities
- Support the manager in delivering quality service across the unit.
- Ensure a strong relationship is kept with clients and customers.
- Provide and maintain the highest standards of food and drink service.
- Effectively utilise the branding and marketing materials provided.
- Communicate effectively with your manager and team, coordinating the entire operation of the catering unit during scheduled shifts.
- Meet and greet customers and be a presence in the unit.
- Brief all staff regarding food and service standards to ensure that all services provided are of the highest standards.
- Continually monitor the service and food provided in the restaurant, giving feedback to the chefs/service team to ensure the food and service is of the highest quality.
- Check stock levels and order supplies.
- Assist in any area of the catering unit when circumstances dictate.
- Create a positive team atmosphere and customer environment.
- Configure counter and display spaces to make them attractive.
- Ensure QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team.
- Assist with administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within catering.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
