Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Service - Assist with the preparation, portioning and presentation of food items. Serve customers politely and efficiently, maintaining portion control and service standards. Set up, replenish and clear service counters throughout service periods.
  • Customer Experience - Provide friendly, professional customer service. Respond to customer queries and requests promptly. Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming service environment.
  • Operational Support - Assist with basic food preparation under supervision. Support the smooth running of break times, meal periods, hospitality events and ad hoc service requirements. Follow all operational procedures, including allergen management and labelling.
  • Cleaning & Hygiene - Carry out daily cleaning tasks in kitchen, service and dining areas. Wash up equipment, utensils and crockery using manual or mechanical methods. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and adhere to uniform requirements.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance - Follow all food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures. Report hazards, maintenance issues or incidents immediately. Comply with company policies, including health & safety, safeguarding (if applicable), and confidentiality.
