Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of a thriving cafe and busy hospitality section, ensuring smooth functioning and high‑quality service delivery
• Collaborate closely with the account manager, head chef, and client to maintain alignment with organisational goals and client expectations
• Lead the development and implementation of a health‑focused food and beverage offering, keeping abreast of current trends and nutritional guidelines
• Foster a culture of exceptional guest engagement, personally interacting with patrons to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
• Spearhead menu development initiatives, working alongside the head chef to create innovative, seasonal, and health‑conscious offerings
• Conceptualise, plan, and execute internal events from inception to delivery, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments
• Establish and maintain a robust system for collecting, analysing, and actioning guest feedback to continuously improve service quality and guest experience
• Manage and motivate a diverse team of staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth and maintain high standards
• Oversee financial aspects of the operation, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing requirements
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the cafe and hospitality services, increasing visibility and attracting new clientele
• Manage inventory and supply chain, negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost‑effective procurement of high‑quality ingredients and materials
• Represent the establishment at industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and stay informed about sector developments
• Implement and oversee sustainability initiatives to minimise environmental impact and align with corporate social responsibility goals
• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday with some evenings to cover internal events as required
