Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of a thriving cafe and busy hospitality section, ensuring smooth functioning and high‑quality service delivery
- Collaborate closely with the account manager, head chef, and client to maintain alignment with organisational goals and client expectations
- Lead the development and implementation of a health‑focused food and beverage offering, keeping abreast of current trends and nutritional guidelines
- Foster a culture of exceptional guest engagement, personally interacting with patrons to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Spearhead menu development initiatives, working alongside the head chef to create innovative, seasonal, and health‑conscious offerings
- Conceptualise, plan, and execute internal events from inception to delivery, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments
- Establish and maintain a robust system for collecting, analysing, and actioning guest feedback to continuously improve service quality and guest experience
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth and maintain high standards
- Oversee financial aspects of the operation, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing requirements
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the cafe and hospitality services, increasing visibility and attracting new clientele
- Manage inventory and supply chain, negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost‑effective procurement of high‑quality ingredients and materials
- Represent the establishment at industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and stay informed about sector developments
- Implement and oversee sustainability initiatives to minimise environmental impact and align with corporate social responsibility goals
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday with some evenings to cover internal events as required
