We are expanding and are looking for a sous chef to take their next step on the management ladder to work in a facility that is less than 2 years old feeding Amazon Associates. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic foodie company.
Location: Amazon LBA5, LS9 0DZ
Pay Rate: £15.50 – £16.00 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 7.30pm – 3:30am
Working Pattern: 5 nights over 7 (including weekends)
Overtime: Paid, if required
Operation: 24/7 Site
We're looking for a Sous Chef for the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen within a 24/7 operation. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and reliable chef ready to take the next step in their culinary career.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the smooth running of daily kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of food preparation and hygiene
- Support with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
- Lead and inspire junior kitchen staff when required
- Proven experience as a CDP or Senior CDP in a high-volume environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and passion for food
- Flexibility to work weekends as part of a 5 over 7 schedule
