Company Description

BAE Broadoak is a Contract Catering Company called Baxterstorey providing Food, Beverage and Hospitality services. The team of 7 serves Breakfast and Lunch, Coffee Bar, Retail and Salad/Deli Bar for staff and management.

Hours: 34.5 hours per week Monday – Thursday 06:30am – 14:30pm, Friday 07:00am – 12:00pm.

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour.

Job Description:

  • Dishwashing – wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers.
  • Kitchen cleanliness – clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas; empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Food preparation – assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
  • Inventory management – assist in receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Compliance with health and safety – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring equipment is in good working order.

Qualifications:

  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Information:

Must be a British National and hold a British passport for security purposes.
