Job Description
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation of food preparation areas, equipment, and serving stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with stock management, including receiving, storing, and rotating food items appropriately
- Support the setup and breakdown of dining areas and service stations
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, responding to queries and requests with professionalism
- Operate till systems and process payments accurately
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service operations
- Monitor and report on food stock levels and equipment maintenance requirements
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and company policies
- Support area‑wide initiatives and cover shifts across multiple locations as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Strong people skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Excellent time keeping and reliability
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Valid driving license and access to own transport
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- Basic numeracy skills for till operation and stock management
- Teamwork and collaborative approach to work
- Desirable: Experience with stock management systems or point‑of‑sale technology
