Contracted Hours: 37 hours per week (5 days over 6) 7am - 3pm or 11am - 6pm

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Catering Assistant to join our team in Bellshill, United Kingdom. As a key member of our catering staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of meals, snacks, and beverages
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards
- Serve food to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate kitchen equipment and utensils safely and efficiently
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management
- Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas
- Support the catering team during special events or functions
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Basic food handling and hygiene knowledge
- Have a contagious passion for food and/or customer service
- Previous experience in a catering or food service role is often a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player with a collaborative attitude
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths preferred
- Food hygiene certificate is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
