Our flagship site is seeking an experienced, customer obsessed Briefing Concierge (BC) to manage onsite logistics support for the Executive Briefing Center (EBC) located in London, UK. The Program connects customers with executives and subject matter experts for customized, collaborative discussions. The London (LHR14) Executive Briefing Center is comprised of three executive briefing rooms, one breakout room, one reception desk, and hospitality areas.
The BC is responsible for managing onsite logistics that support the successful execution of executive briefings. The BC plays a critical role in creating a world class customer experience for our guests, which are primarily executive level customers of AWS. This includes providing onsite logistics support, greeting guests and escorting them to their briefing room, and carrying out setup/breakdown responsibilities for each briefing.
The ideal candidate has experience working with executive leadership in a support role. They are a self-starter with an impeccable attention to detail. They are comfortable with ambiguity but can successfully manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with direction and support from onsite EBC staff. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They anticipate customer needs, resolve tactical challenges, and remain calm under pressure.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:- Ensure Executive Briefing Center is customer-ready on executive briefing days
- Prepare and setup executive briefing resources including printed materials, supplies, and swag
- Staff Welcome Desks, greet guests and visitors, check their luggage/coats, and escort them to their briefing room
- Setup briefing rooms prior to each briefing/Breakdown briefing rooms after each briefing
- Partner with onsite support teams such as Protective Services, Catering, and AV teams to provide best in class customer experiences
- Manage briefing supply inventory and ensure all storage areas organized
- Lead briefing center facility tours for internal guests and visitors
- Additional duties as determined by the EBC Site Lead
Basic Qualifications:
- Executive presence, strong verbal and written skills
- 3+ years’ experience in a high-volume customer-facing role, preferably in the technology industry.
- Highly effective in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
- Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to be on-site at the London Executive Briefing Center on a consistent basis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in marketing, hospitality management or equivalent related experience
- Proven record of cross-team collaboration and ability to influence without authority
- Creative problem solver
