Salary: 20,982 per annum working 30 hours per week, Flexible daytime hours across Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm.
We are recruiting for an experienced and versatile general assistant to join our Coventry site. This role is ideal for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who can confidently support customer service, food preparation and hospitality delivery in a fast moving environment. From front of house support to coffee bar work, you'll play an essential role in delivering a great experience every day.
Ideally, you must hold a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, customer facing with basic food preparation and barista skills.

Job Description
As a General Assistant you will…
- Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in food service
- Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
