We’re looking for a Barista to join our support function team. On a daily basis you’ll be serving coffee to 1500 staff members within the head office of Severn Trent, and also support with food service in our restaurant. We’re looking for a confident Barista who’s got a minimum 1 year experience; you don’t need to be an expert in latte art but basic hearts etc. would be great!

Location: BaxterStorey, Severn Trent Coventry

Salary: £13.45 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (between 7.30 am and 17.00 pm)

Job Description:

  • Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
  • Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using the correct methods, equipment and to our standards
  • Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and COSHH standards
  • Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
  • Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
  • Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
  • Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
