We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Assistant with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our staff restaurant settings.
As a General Assistant you will…
- Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch, according to established menus and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
- Collaborative working as a team supporting each other during meal preparation, weekly stocktaking and pot-washing.
- Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to staff during mealtimes.
- Handle money, operating a till, cashing up at the end of the shift.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Additionally supporting the team with any other business requirements and tasks.
Qualifications:
- Ideally have experience working in a small kitchen.
- Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
- Fun and enthusiastic.
- Have excellent organisation skills.
- Demonstrate great attention to detail.
- Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
