The predicted salary is between 12 - 12 £ per hour.
Temp 3 month contract: 35 hours per week (nights) working 5/7 days a week over two shift patterns:
- Lates Shift: 18.00pm to 01.30am minus 30 minute break.
- Nights Shift: 07.30pm to 03.00am minus 30 minute break.
Salary: £12.21 per hour plus night shifts premium. Additional pay includes:
- Friday extra £13.93 for working that day.
- Saturday extra £28.53 for working that day.
- Hourly shift Premium after 14.00pm extra £1.63 per hour.
- Hourly shift premium after 22.00pm extra £2.54 per hour.
Location: Morrisons, Burton Latimer distribution warehouse.
You will assist the Night Manager in all aspects of food service, including:
- Taking payment for food and drinks.
- Cleaning equipment as required.
- Assisting Chefs in the preparation and cooking of food.
- Serving meals, snacks & drinks including taking payments.
- Cleaning all equipment, crockery & cutlery as required.
- Supporting, operating and providing service in areas including but not limited to: Serveries, Retail, Hospitality, Functions.
- Ensuring all food is handled in accordance with the standards specified in the Food Safety & Quality Management System.
- Carrying out and recording any checks specified by the Shift Managers, Catering Manager.
- Ensuring all waste is removed promptly and placed in the correct waste containers in accordance with site waste management plan.
- Carrying out tasks in the most efficient manner, taking into account any production or allergen constraints, to meet customer orders.
- Participating as a HACCP Team member if required.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant H&S legislation and Codes of Practice.
- Participating in ongoing professional development and training that may include off-site and occasionally overnight travel.
- Ensuring all raw materials and packaging materials are stored in the correct areas of the site.
- Ensuring all production and quality records are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensuring all traceability requirements are fully complied with.
- Receiving deliveries and checking supplier invoices in accordance with the company systems/procedures.
- Assisting where necessary in collating traceability information.
Qualifications: Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (Desirable).
