We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our Site Services team based in Fochabers. The role will involve bailing of cardboard and plastics using the bailing machines in preparation for processing, ensuring the cleanliness of the site by emptying waste bins and skips, and assisting in lorry loading.
Main Responsibilities:
- Bailing of cardboard and plastics using the bailing machines preparing for processing
- Assist in lorry loading
- Sanitation duties, ie emptying of waste bins & waste skips across the Fochabers site,
- Cleaning of the waste bins and skips
- Maintain clean working areas and environment this also includes keeping pallets tidy and the bailing shed and its surrounding area
Person Specification:
- Desirably a Forklift License however training will be given.
- Good timekeeping is essential
- Experience of manual handling and carrying out physically demanding duties
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues where required
- Demonstrates attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
