We are recruiting for an Engineering Planner to join the team in Fochabers. The successful candidate would join the engineering team working Monday to Friday dayshift, with exact details to be agreed. The successful candidate will provide all engineering planning and scheduling activities across the site as well as using the engineering data to provide continuous improvement to increase reliability and decrease engineering cost.

Main Accountabilities

  • To plan and schedule all maintenance activities.
  • Take the lead role in improving the maintenance plans using data from the CMMS and Operations systems.
  • To take the lead role in managing engineering compliance and H&S issues.
  • Being accountable for engineering stores inventory.
  • Delivery of risk-based activities including criticality, condition and obsolescence reporting.
  • Contractor control and site shutdown maintenance plans.
  • Regularly evaluating and improving maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Be accountable for your own actions and standards within the engineering workshops and food production areas.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of engineering CMMS systems preferably Maximo.
  • Experience of maintenance engineering and or maintenance planning.
  • Analysis of data and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members.
  • A proactive approach in seeking opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.
