Our Baxter Thetford site are looking for a Warehouse Planner responsible for Warehouse Capacity monitoring and scheduling, the handling of goods, as well as for ensuring that information regarding the condition and availability of goods in stock is kept up to date. You will communicate and liaise with the internal and external partners to ensure regular flow of inbound Raw Materials and outbound Finished Goods to receiving Distribution Centers. This role is a Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 17.00pm position.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for creating transportation plans and measuring accuracy shipping with key KPI’s from tier 1 to tier 3 within the organization.
- To be responsible for leading the data logger plan, ensuring both mandated and routine data loggers are planned, setup and used for loads.
- For being the site representative for the ordering and arranging returns of Finished Goods to site.
- ERP applications for handling goods flows and stock.
- Updating internal documents and trackers as per Warehouse Procedures.
- Being able to support in both Warehouse’s Gate 1 and 2 when required.
- Being able to work as part of cross functional team and learn various jobs in both warehouses as the need to support the business.
- To perform regular GEMBA’s to ensure Finished Goods stock is being shipped as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- To communicate and work with the Supply Chain Team to coordinate delivery schedules.
- To communicate and work with Supply Chain Team to ensure availability of regular collections of Finished Goods.
- Align with EHS/GMP/GDP company and corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.
- To notify quality assurance and the process leading hands of any concerns or actual deviations from the process.
- Actively identifying ways to make the operation more LEAN.
- Collating Intercompany complaints data and completing actions to improve on those complaints.
- To assist routine blind count audits.
Essential:

- Appreciation of safety legislation including manual handling and COSHH.
Desirable:
- Computer literacy including MS Windows & spreadsheets.
- Line Management Experience.
