Summary
We are looking for a Packing Technician to help with all day-to-day tasks of packing and dispatching of the medicine. The ideal candidate will have very good attention to detail and will be keen to start a career in the pharmaceutical industry as full training will be provided. This is a full-time permanent position for the Baxter site in Oxford. Working hours are: 7am – 3 pm and 1 pm – 9 pm.
Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment in a validated state
- Internal packaging operation support including packaging and labelling of supplies
- Document management
- Data entry in applicable GMP inventory/distribution systems
- Printing of supplies/materials/labels
- Electronic/physical preparation of supplies for shipping
- Escalate issues as needed
- Tracking of requests and orders in support of operations
- Material stock monitoring usage and quantity tracking
- Raising shipments and tracking through to delivery and/or receipts
- Monitor timelines task completions and other data for use in department metrics
- Generate reports/documents from multiple systems
- Other duties as deemed reasonable

- Strong problem-solving skills and task management skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work with autonomy
- Experience in working in a regulated environment/GMP would be advantageous
