We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Manager to support the ongoing operation and reliability of an industrial facility. This role has been created to strengthen maintenance capability during a period of operational growth and development.

This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment and systems. The role combines reactive and preventative maintenance, with a strong focus on minimising downtime and ensuring safe, efficient operations. Depending on experience, the position may involve additional supervisory or coordination responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system-related faults
  • Repair or replace components as required, including carrying out basic fabrication or welding where needed
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Work with automated or controlled systems, supporting fault finding and adjustments where required
  • Support installation, maintenance, and external contractors on site
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
  • Assist in planning maintenance schedules
