Technical Sales Executive – Ready-Mixed Concrete (RMC) Are you an experienced sales professional with a strong technical background in ready-mixed concrete? Do you thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment where delivering exceptional customer service is key? We are looking for a Technical Sales Executive to join a dynamic team in the environmental sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with in-depth knowledge of RMC (Ready Mix Concrete) products and a passion for sales, customer service, and technical support. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Sell a range of ready-mixed concrete (RMC) and related products to a variety of customers. ✅ Provide technical advice and support to both internal and external stakeholders. ✅ Maintain and issue mix design data and certificates. ✅ Ensure compliance with BSI standards for ready-mixed concrete. ✅ Manage customer relationships, acting as the first point of contact for queries and orders. ✅ Monitor and report on key business metrics, including sales forecasts, concrete mix costs, and vehicle earnings. ✅ Input customer orders into the operational system. ✅ Lead, manage, and motivate staff where required, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards. What We’re Looking For: 🔹 Experience – Minimum 10 years’ experience in the ready-mixed concrete industry. 🔹 Sales Knowledge – Strong background in sales and territory management, ideally within the RMC or construction materials sector. 🔹 Technical Expertise – Knowledge of concrete technology (Parts 1 & 2 desirable). 🔹 Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. 🔹 IT Proficiency – Competent in Microsoft Office and cloud-based management systems. 🔹 Team Player – Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively. 🔹 Driving Licence – Full UK driving licence required.
