With a starting salary of *£55,166.49* per annum, Baxter Thetford are keen to speak with experienced Multi-skilled Automation Bias Maintenance Engineers who are looking for a meaningful new role within a fast-paced team. You will provide plant wide reactive and proactive maintenance and support new installations and engineering projects across site. You will work rotating shifts Monday – Sunday,06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00and will be eligible for overtime at premium rates of pay.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out all planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets on Maximo.
  • Assist and support queries to identify improvements to the stores system.
  • Review planned and preventative maintenance procedures and suggest improvements.
  • Advance issue's when necessary, in a timely manner.
  • Identify areas for improvement across site.
  • Deliver all activities at the standards required by GMP

Experience & Education

  • HNC or equivalent in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
  • High degree of competency in electrical fault finding, schematics wiring and circuitry
  • Electrical knowledge, PLC (Ideally Allen Bradley experience & High Level fault finding experience
  • Experience with control panels, automation and robotics
  • Good level knowledge of electrical Safety, CCT and controllers
  • Good level Mechanical knowledge and overall engineering understanding in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Work as part of a wider team but also show the ability to work independently
