This is where your work makes a difference. We have an opportunity for a Packing Technician to join our team in Compounding on the late shift (13:00‑21:00). In Compounding we manufacture patient‑specific products such as chemotherapy, nutrition and antibiotics. You will be responsible for supporting the compounding operation which manufactures aseptically compounded products, following SOPs, GMP, GDP & EHS to ensure a high‑quality product at all times. You will work Monday‑Friday 13:00‑21:00.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pack products of a high standard and release according to specific timeframes
  • Perform routine quality checks on the product as part of the compounding process
  • Check batch numbers thoroughly and escalate any problems
  • Follow standard operating procedures
  • Cover operators during periods of sickness/annual leave (you may be asked to work the AM shift on occasion)
  • Understand that products are patient‑specific and must meet a high level of quality – always
  • Perform and record all cleaning tasks for equipment and work areas as defined in the relevant SOPs
  • Notify Team Leader/Manager and Quality Assurance of any deviations from the process

Experience Required

  • Ability to communicate and work as part of a cross‑functional team; liaise with production and quality departments most days
  • Strong work ethic and flexibility to meet business needs
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a GMP environment is an advantage
  • Reasonable computer skills (MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent attention to detail (checking batch numbers and measurements)
  • English & Mathematics GCSE or equivalent
